The official FAQ states it directly: PC and “mainstream console platforms”, with official information subject to the pre-release announcement. Which consoles, and which generation, is still not stated.

No named console, no storefront

No specific console model, storefront page or preorder date exists.DSOGamingGame Science

Re-checked against the Steam store API on the access date: no listing exists. Reseller pages advertising a “PC (Steam)” key for this game are not storefront pages, and the official FAQ still names no console.

The trailer was captured on PC

Game Science confirmed a 21:9 capture; DSOGaming infers PC from the aspect ratio. Reasonable, but an inference — not a first-party statement about the build.

Why this page stays short

An unnamed console is not a named one.

Pages elsewhere list PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo hardware as though they were announced. They were not. Game Science said “consoles”, and a reasonable reader can guess which ones — but a guess printed in a specification table stops looking like a guess. When a platform is confirmed by name, it will appear in the table above with the announcement attached.

The previous game’s Xbox release landed exactly one year after PC and PlayStation 5, which is genuinely interesting context.Game Informer It is still only context. It predicts nothing about this game, and Game Science denied the exclusivity arrangement that context implies.

Precedent is not an announcement.

The 15-minute reveal this archive breaks down. Embedded, not re-hosted. The quote is from the video’s own description — it is the first-party origin of the “early development” and “work-in-progress build” lines that Gematsu and VGC both carry. The description also calls the player character only “the protagonist”.
