Quick answer
Three official videos
As of 27 August 2026, Game Science has published three videos for this game on its official channel: the announcement teaser (August 2025), a non-canon Chinese New Year short (February 2026), and the 15-minute gameplay reveal (August 2026).Game Science
How these were verified
Re-uploads outrank the originals.
Searching for this game’s trailers returns copies from IGN, Xbox, PlayStation and aggregator channels above the studio’s own uploads. Several of them are titled “Official”, which they are in the sense that a publisher supplied the footage — and are not, in the sense that matters when you are trying to cite a primary source.
Each video below was checked through YouTube’s oEmbed endpoint, which returns the uploading channel independently of the title. All three resolve to @BlackMythGame. Videos are embedded from that channel and never downloaded or re-hosted.
A trailer titled “Official” is not the same thing as a first-party upload.

“As the game is still in early development, all footage was captured in-game from a work-in-progress build running at a 21:9 aspect ratio. The final release may differ.”
The 15-minute reveal this archive breaks down. Embedded, not re-hosted. The quote is from the video’s own description — it is the first-party origin of the “early development” and “work-in-progress build” lines that Gematsu and VGC both carry. The description also calls the player character only “the protagonist”.
